Flat built up felt roofing

Felt roofing systems are suitable for a wide range of refurbishment projects or new build. Considering the needs of each client would dictate which system was specified. Working with many of the top manufacturers we can specify a suitable system for each project ensuring it is the most cost-effective solution to extend the life of your premises with many manufacturers offering guarantees of 25yrs +.

The systems we supply are compatible with most surfaces including timber, asphalt, felt and metal. Built up felt roofing can usually be installed using gas torch-applied techniques. If your site has a ‘no flame’ policy, there are also systems which are cold-applied which don’t require the use of gas torches or hot bitumen.

Insulation can be incorporated into all systems to improve the thermal performance of your premises and comply with current building regulations.

Liquid applied roofing

Liquid applied roofing systems are suitable for a wide range of refurbishment projects or new build. Considering the needs of each client would dictate which system was specified. Single Ply Membranes

The use of single ply or membrane roofing systems has become increasingly more frequent over recent years. Suitable for a wide range of refurbishment projects or new build they are popular in the main due to their flexibility and relatively quick installation in comparison to other systems. With many manufacturers offering guarantees in excess of 25 years we can offer systems to suit each individual client’s needs.

Single ply systems are compatible with most surfaces including timber, asphalt, felt, other single membranes and metal. Ideal for you if your site has a ‘no flame’ policy as the systems don’t require the use of gas torches or naked flames and can be mechanically fixed as well as hot air welded.

Insulation is usually incorporated into the systems to improve the thermal performance of your premises and comply with current building regulations.

Please note - Water ingress from a singly ply roof is often quite difficult to identify. In many instances prior to suggesting a full replacement of an existing roof we would recommend an electronic leak detection survey be carried out by AB Roofing Solutions which may save you or your client the costly expense of a full roof replacement.

The systems mentioned above can all include gutter refurbishment or replacement if required.
